MoneyBird Integration 🐦

We are excited to announce our first full-scale accounting integration: MoneyBird.

You can now connect your MoneyBird administration directly to your BillPipe workspace. This integration allows you to seamlessly map your BillPipe customers to your MoneyBird contacts and push finalized invoices directly into your accounting software without any manual data entry.

What's new:

Email PDF Invoices ✉️

You can now send invoices to your customers with a single click. BillPipe emails a professionally formatted PDF invoice directly to the customer's address on file, and automatically marks the invoice as Submitted.

What's new:

• ✉️ "Send by Email" action on any draft invoice
• 📎 PDF is generated and attached automatically
• 🔄 Invoice status automatically transitions to "Submitted" on send
• 📬 Configurable email subject and body per workspace
• ✅ "Mark as Submitted" and "Mark as Paid" quick actions

Behind the scenes: 🛠️ Email delivery is powered by Brevo (formerly Sendinblue). PDF generation runs server-side in Go and is streamed directly into the email attachment without touching the filesystem. Bulk selection and send is supported from the invoices table.

Improved Dashboarding & Analytics 📊

The BillPipe dashboard just got a major upgrade. You can now track your full billing pipeline at a glance with real-time data and configurable time windows.

What's new:

• 📈 Live billing history chart with selectable views (customers, drafts, submitted, paid)
• 🕐 Time-window selector to filter data by period
• 📊 Status breakdown across all invoice states
• 👥 Customer overview with invoice counts
• 🚀 "Get Started" onboarding checklist (set company details → add customer → create invoice)

Behind the scenes: 🛠️ A new backend endpoint provides aggregated time-series data for the dashboard chart. Invoice records now track timestamps for each status transition, enabling accurate historical reporting.

Invoice Creation & PDF Generation 🧾

We're thrilled to launch the core invoicing engine for BillPipe! You can now create, manage, and export professional invoices as PDFs — all without leaving the dashboard.

What's new:

• 📄 Create invoices with line items, quantities, and tax rates
• 🏢 Bill-From / Bill-To sections populated from your workspace and customer records
• 🖨️ One-click PDF generation with your company logo and branding
• 💰 Support for multiple currencies
• 📋 Draft → Submitted → Paid status workflow

Behind the scenes: 🛠️ The PDF engine is built in Go using gofpdf, with support for custom fonts, accent colors, and logo embedding via URL. The invoice data model is fully normalized and ready for future automation.
